ADDITIONAL COSTS
Depending on complexity additional costs may apply. These additional costs are a percentage of the base price per character, rounded up.

PERSONAL USE, COMMERCIAL USE AND EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS
• Personal Use Commissions, base commission price, +5% paypal fees, are pieces that the client is free to use for non-commercial purposes. The client can print the artwork, show it online (credit is required when possible) and display it as they please.
The sale of any type of material featuring or derived from said commission is not allowed. If the client wants to use the piece commercially after the commission is done, it can be discussed and a fee will be applied.
• Commercial Use Commissions, +100% of base commission price, +5% paypal fees, are pieces primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or monetary compensation. Commercial activities would be; merchandise production, images used in films and on TV, in publications that are sold, and online or offline advertisements and commercial promotions. Using images on or in anything that is created with the intention of making a profit would be considered commercial use.
I, the artist, maintain ownership of said artwork for my own personal and commercial use and to display it on my portfolio and social media.
• Exclusive Rights Commissions, +200% of base commission price, +5% paypal fees, are commissions that give the client complete ownership of the artwork. Exclusivity transfers ownership of not just the actual piece of artwork, but and all associated rights (the intellectual property) to the client as well. The use and display of said piece is allowed only to the client.
Terms of Service
By commissioning me you are agreeing to the terms of service below.
Please make sure you read them beforehand.I. GENERAL TERMS.
• I reserve the right to select what commissions I want to work on.
• If the client fails to follow the terms here provided, I have the right to cancel the commission at any time.
• ".clip" or layered files are not provided.II. PAYMENT.
• All commissions must be paid in full up front.
• The only currency accepted is EUR (€).
• Payments are made through PAYPAL invoice.III. REFERENCES.
• The client will be asked to fill in a brief (1 page) form with all the required information about the character.
• Visual references, where available, are welcome. More details on the type of references needed will be provided during the booking process.
• Please keep in mind that I will NEVER copy a character’s likeness, if the character doesn’t belong to the client. Fanart is allowed and inspiration is allowed, but I will not copy someone else’s character without their consent.
• Requests to change the pose to a different one after the sketch is done following the reference provided, will incur extra fees.IV. PROCESS.
• I will never ask for or accept payments before I’m ready to start working on a commission.
• I will not start working on a commission until the payment is complete.
• For Character Design commissions, the client will be provided with a sketch, then a lineart+flat colours version and then the finished result. They will have to approve each step and once the step is approved I will proceed to the next. See image for example of these 3 steps.
For illustration commissions, I will provide WIPs depending on the complexity of the piece.
• Once the sketch or any of the WIPs are approved by the client, no significant changes will be made to the piece. For example: once the sketch is approved, the pose won’t be changed. Requests to change parts of the commission that have already been approved will incur extra fees.
• The time of completion of the commission can be up to 3 months from the initial payment. If the client needs the artwork delivered quickly or by a specific date, they need to communicate it before I start the commission. Rushed deadlines will incur extra fees.
• Should any issue or delay occur on my side, the client will be immediately notified.
• Once the final piece is approved, the client will receive high resolution files of the character(s), plus low resolution watermarked versions for online use.V. COPYRIGHT / USE POLICY.
• I, the artist, retain the full rights to the artwork, unless the client buys Exclusive Rights to the work (read the “PERSONAL USE, COMMERCIAL USE AND EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS” section on my Commission Rates page for more info).
• If the client commissioned a piece for personal use they can
- print the artwork as they please
- claim ownership of their character(s) but not of the drawing itself
- use the art to promote themselves with proper credit given to the artist
- the client is in no way and under no circumstance allowed to use the artwork commercially.
- if the client would like to use the artwork commercially, they can contact me and we can discuss it.
• If the client commissioned a piece for commercial use, they are allowed to make any sort of merchandise or other product for sale featuring the artwork. Credit is still required for usage of the artwork.
• The only exception to this is that I will never, under any circumstance, allow my work to be used as/for NFTs, nor any use involving AI engines or projects.
• I do not allow my work to be edited or manipulated in any way. If a client desires to edit my work, they need to consult me first.
• Any unauthorised sale or distribution of my work is absolutely not allowed.VI. CANCELLING/REFUNDING POLICY.
• The client can not cancel or demand a refund from the artist under any circumstances once the artwork has been started.
• The only situation in which the client is allowed to cancel the commission, is if the payment hasn’t been sent yet.
• Clients on the waiting list can cancel their slot at any point without problem, just please notify me, so I can remove you from my list.
